Literature Text

At night when to bed I go,
I remove my mask of the day;
And off to bed I where I head,
Oh how I wish bed is where I could stay.
I feel as If I can't quite decide,
Who I was today,
Or even more who I am now,
My true self long gone away.
My mind moves to thoughts tomorrow,
And which mask I'll take for a spin,
Who I'll go and try to copy,
My true personality cannot win.
Conflicting confusion bombarding my brain,
Lying restless tidbits with ease,
A single tear rolls down my cheek,
As I war to choose who I will be.
Just a quick poem whipped up during a lecture at school. Not my best, but worth sharing I suppose.
